Catawba County Man Jailed In Alexander County

24-year old Ozzy Lee Edwards of Sherill’s Ford was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center on Monday. He was sentenced in Alexander County District Court to serve 45 days after entering a guilty plea for larceny, possession of stolen goods and probation violation. Edwards was given credit for 27 days already served.

Edwards has a number of pending charges awaiting trial in Catawba County that include felony possession of a stolen vehicle, damage to personal property and driving with license revoked.
