Catawba County Man Held Under Large Bond

A Catawba County man is being held in custody with a bond of $500,000.

37-year old John Lee Brooks was served arrest warrants on Monday by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office after missing court dates. The charges from Lincoln County include crimes against nature, second-degree sexual assault and second-degree kidnapping. Brooks next court appearance is scheduled for July 5th in Lincolnton.
