Kentrel Antwain Overton, age 30, of California DR, Catawba was detained in Alexander County on Monday. He is charged with felony breaking and entering a motor vehicle. Overton is being held without bond. There are previous charges pending in Cleveland County for felony breaking and entering a motor vehicle, felony larceny, felony possession of stolen firearm and possess of a firearm by a felon. Pending Catawba County Charges include felony possession of cocaine, felony possession of schedule II controlled substance and hit and run/leaving the scene of an accident.
