Catawba County Man Charged With Sexual Exploitation Of Minor

A Hickory man is facing child-sex related charges.

The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office arrested 75-year old Robert Oliver Parker on Wednesday and charged him with three counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He’s being held in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $150,000. Parker is scheduled to appear in Catawba County District Court on Thursday.
