The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office has released the following information
Kenny Raymond Walker
When deputies arrived they discovered an adult male deceased from apparent stab wounds. Officers were soon directed to a neighboring residence where they located the suspect, Kenny Raymond Walker, age 43 of Conover, and took him into custody without incident.
Sheriff’s investigators have learned this incident may have stemmed from a dispute between Walker and the victim. The victim’s name is not being released at this time. The Sheriff’s Office is working to notify next of kin.
Walker has been charged with Murder and is being held without bond pending a first appearance in Catawba County District Court on Monday.
