The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Claremont man Friday morning after responding to a domestic violence report. Kody Chayce Leigh, age 28, is charged with assault on a female, false imprisonment, assault by pointing a gun and interfering with emergency communications. Leigh is being held without bond in the County Jail in Newton.
