Catawba County Deputies Arrest Woman For Allegedly Stealing Car At Knifepoint

A 45-year-old Denver woman has been arrested in Catawba County on multiple charges from Mecklenburg County, including robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Jennifer Leigh Peeler, of Burris Road in Denver, was arrested September ninth by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office.

Peeler is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, domestic violence, interfering with emergency communication, and felony larceny of a motor vehicle. According to court records, Peeler took a man’s Honda Civic at knifepoint. The alleged incident occurred August 16 in Charlotte.

Peeler was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility without bond. She’s scheduled to appear in Mecklenburg County District Court September 11.
