A man is dead and another wounded after a shooting at a car wash in Catawba County on Tuesday evening.
Hickory Police say one man was shot and killed. A second male was shot in the leg and airlifted to a regional medical facility.
The shooting was reported at a car wash off NC Highway 127 in Mountain View.
The man who was shot in the leg had a pickup truck in a car wash bay. The man who was shot and killed was one of several people in a gray minivan at the car wash, police said.
The shooting is believed to be related to a domestic conflict.
