Caldwell County Waters Rise During Thursday Deluge

Portions of Caldwell County experienced some dangerous flash flooding on Thursday during downpours.

Sheriff Kevin Bean is advising residents to avoid several roads in the northern end of the county due to rising flood waters.

Impacted areas include:

• Zacks Ford Rd
• Dimmette Rd
• Saint Johns Rd
• Indian Grave Rd
• John Kirby Pl
• Blairs Fork Rd
* N Main St

Never attempt to drive through flooded areas. Turn around, don’t drown !
