Jeffrey Dwayne Ferguson
Around 4:30 pm on Friday, the Caldwell County Communications Center received a 911 call reporting a shooting in the Gamewell Community. Deputies responded and found a man who had been shot multiple times according to a press release. The investigation revealed that the shooting stemmed from a dispute between acquaintances. The victim later succumbed to his injuries.
49-year-old Jeffrey Dwayne Ferguson has been charged with murder and is being held without bond in the Cadwell County Jail.
The name of the victim has yet to be released.
