The Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office says a Lenoir man was killed in a shooting last week.
Kyle Caudill, age 35, was killed in a shooting at a location on Carrie Place in Lenoir. No charges have been filed. Reports indicate that the shooter was defending himself and is cooperating with investigators.
Multiple shots were fired. The shooter is a resident of the home where the shooting took place and called 911. The shooter and the victim were acquaintances.
No other information has been released.
