Burke Officers Searching For Morganton Man Wanted For Statutory Rape

The Burke County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation’s Division is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 39-year old Solomon Deprince Norwood. Norwood has an outstanding warrant for arrest for statutory rape of a child under the age of 15. Norwood could be in surrounding counties and has moved from his last known address in Morganton.

Norwood is listed as 5’11 and weighs 151 pounds
