Burke Officers Make Meth Bust

North Carolina Probation and Parole Officers and Burke County Sheriff’s Office Detectives went to 7302 Nolden Creek Road, Connelly Springs on Monday to conduct a residential check.

Charges:
(F) Trafficking In Methamphetamine
(F) PWIMSD Methamphetamine
(F) Possession of Schedule II (Methamphetamine)
(F) Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling/Place for CS
(M) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Upon arrival, probation officers made contact with 45 year old Russell Eugene Pitts. Officers searched the residence and located approximately 6 ounces of methamphetamine. Detectives arrested Pitt’s and charged him with the charges listed above.

Pitts received a $150,000.00 secured bond and was given a court date of December 18, 2018. Pitt’s was confined at the Burke/Catawba District Confinement Facility.
