Burke County Woman Arrested After Threatening To Blow-Up Residence

A Valdese woman has been charged after allegedly threatening to bomb a residence.

Michelle Revis Hartley, age 51, Praley ST. NW., Valdese, was arrested by the Valdese Police Department on Tuesday. She is charged with one-count of indecent exposure and four-counts of communicating threats. According to arrest documentation, the suspect verbally threatened to “blow up a residence.” The home was occupied by four people. Hartley is being held in custody.
