Burke County Sheriff’s Deputies Searching For Man Who Allegedly Stabbed Female In Chest

On Sunday, November 23, the Burke County Sheriff’s Office responded to 3931 US 64 for a reported domestic incident. Shortly after the call was dispatched, Deputies were advised that the female victim had been stabbed in the chest.

Witnesses stated that the suspect, identified as Stephen Tyler Bolick, age 31, had fled the scene on foot. EMS and first responders provided medical care to the victim, who suffered a stab wound to the chest and a laceration to her hand.

A search of the surrounding area was conducted; however, Bolick was not located. Warrants have been issued for Felony Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury and Misdemeanor Crime of Domestic Violence. Bolick’s whereabouts are currently unknown.
