Burke County Murder Suspect Captured

A Burke County murder suspect was arrested Thursday after a manhunt that involved multiple agencies including Unites States Federal Marshals.
22-year-old Nolan Andre Smith was considered armed and dangerous. He was captured during a traffic stop on I-40.
He’s charged with the murder of 35-year-old Jonathan Ross. Burke County deputies found Ross dead in the street at 3490 Spaniel Street in Connelly Springs on April 22 just after midnight.
