Burke County Man Jailed In Alexander County

A Burke County man is being held without bond in Alexander County.

On Wednesday, 37-year-old Jay C Wilson of Connelly Springs was charged with violating his probation and placed in the Alexander County Detention Center. Wilson has 2024 charges pending in Alexander County that include felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, possession of schedule VI controlled substance and probation violation. Those charges are scheduled for Alexander County District Court on March 24th.

Wilson is on probation after being given an Alexander County suspended sentence in August, 2024 for possession of schedule VI controlled substance.
