Burke County Man Jailed In Alexander County

33-year old Joshua Matthew Sigmon of Hildebran, was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center Monday morning. He was scheduled to appear in Alexander County District Court today on charges dating to earlier in the year. He was charged in February by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office with felony breaking and entering a motor vehicle and felony larceny.

Sigmon was being held in the Burke County Detention Center prior to today awaiting trial there on charges that include felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell and deliver methamphetamine, felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of schedule IV controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia , reckless driving with wanton disregard and resisting a public officer.

He has a pair of court dates approaching in Burke County on January 8th and 11th.
