Cody Dean Limbo
On June 16, a Burke County Deputy transported Limbo to UNC Health Blue Ridge from the Burke County Jail for a medical evaluation. During the check-in process, Limbo was asked to sign some papers. The inmate abruptly attempted to flee. The Deputy, with assistance from hospital security, quickly regained control before Limbo could exit the hospital.
After the inmate was medically cleared, he was returned to the Burke County Jail where bond was set at $100,000. Limbo will appear in District Court on June 27.
