Brzykcy Gets First Professional Win !

Alexander Central grad Zach Brzykcy picked up his first professional baseball win Wednesday night for the Wilmington Blue Rocks.

Brzykcy pitched the final 4 innings of a 1-0 victory over the Jersey Shore Blue Claws. The game was played in Wilmington, Delaware. Zach’s pitching line for the game:

Brzykcy was the Northwestern Conference Pitcher of the Year in 2017 for Alexander Central. He attended Virginia Tech University and was the bullpen closer for the Hokies before signing as a free agent with the Washington Nationals.
