Do you need broadband internet service?
Alexander County Government is currently partnering with Open Broadband, LLC and Zirrus to expand broadband internet access to unserved and underserved areas of the county.
If you need high-speed internet service, you can add your name and address to Open Broadband’s waiting list at www.openbb.net/alexanderco or you can contact Zirrus at 1-336-463-5055 to check availability.
Open Broadband is still expanding its service to many areas of the county, while Zirrus is in the early stages of providing fiber-to-the-home in eastern and northeastern Alexander County.
In addition, Alexander County Government is working with Spectrum to provide broadband service in other areas of the county… and more broadband opportunities are being explored as grant opportunities become available.
