Statesville– The N.C. Department of Transportation has implemented an emergency closure on a road in Iredell County to perform substructure maintenance on a bridge.
Olin Loop Road was closed in both directions this morning near Josey Road to allow crews to safely perform a pile replacement. Work is expected to be complete by Aug. 26. A signed detour is in place for the duration of the closure.
Motorists are advised to plan accordingly and use extra caution while using detours.
