Breaking News: Wild High-Speed Chase Overnight Across Three Counties

A high-speed chase overnight that covered three counties.

Around 10:30 pm, Catawba County authorities and the NC Highway Patrol pursued a vehicle into Alexander County. Alexander County Deputies and Taylorsville Police were activated.

Reports indicate the vehicle led law enforcement along NC Highway 16 and US 64-90. The chase continued with speeds reaching 130 mph into Iredell County. The chase ended near the Iredell/Catawba County line on Interstate 40.

No official details have been released other than the suspect is in custody.
