The Wilkes County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that two men were fatally shot on New Years Day in the Cricket Community. Deputies responded around 11:30 pm to a home on Boone Trail.
Two victims were found shot to death at the residence. A few moments later a third victim suffering a non-life threatening gunshot wound was located.
A BOLO (Be on the Lookout) was issued for a suspect. The suspect has been arrested in Greene County, Tennessee.
The name of the victims and the suspect have yet to be released.
