Reports indicate a small aircraft has crashed in Eastern Alexander County.
The crash scene is off Smith Farm Road in Stony Point.

Update: Two people were onboard the aircraft and both have been airlifted with what is being termed as serious injuries…One was flown to Carolina’s Regional Medical Center in Charlotte, the other to Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem
