The Alexander County Courthouse has been evacuated after a threat was received by the Clerk of Courts Office.
Emergency units are on the scene at this time.
According to Clerk of Court Edwin Chapman the call was recorded around 10 am.
The area around the courthouse in Tayorsville has been blocked.
