The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission is opening the Wittenburg Access Area on Lake Hickory today, March 9, to allow public access to the boat ramps and parking areas.
The construction area for the swim beach/picnicking/trails on the south end of the parking lot will remain closed and fenced off.
