Avery County Man Missing

The Avery County Sheriff’s Office request the public’s assistance in locating Barry Hertel. Hertel was reported missing on December 23. Hertel was last seen in the Banner Elk area on Friday, December 22.

Mr. Hertel drives a Silver Subaru Forester displaying North Carolina Registration FFH-3876. Anyone with any information on Hertel should contact the Avery County Sheriff’s Office at 828-733-5855
