Arrest Made Sunday

A man is in jail facing a long list of charges in Catawba County.

34-year old Antonio Munoz Palomares was arrested by Maiden Police Sunday for assault with a deadly weapon and resiting arrest. He was also cited for a series of failure to appear counts that include assault and battery, breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, and first-degree trespass. A secured bond of $34,000 was set, Palomares remains in the Catawba County Detention Center.
