An armed robbery in Hickory this morning (December 18) is under investigation. At approximately 2 a.m. Hickory Police responded to The Aquarium Skill Fish Game located at 320 Highway 70 SW in reference to an armed robbery. During the robbery, two black male suspects entered the business, displayed handguns, demanded cash and obtained an undisclosed amount of money. The suspects then exited the business.
The first suspect is described as having a stocky build, approximately 5’5”-5’7”, wearing a black mask, black hoodie, black pants, black shoes, and gloves. The second suspect is described as having a slender build, approximately 6’-6’4”, wearing a black billed hat, black hoodie, blue jeans, brown shoes and gloves.
