Another Drug Arrest Made In Alexander County

On Friday, Alexander County Deputies arrested 37-year-old Maria Lynn Mecimore, 37, Cabin LN., Hiddenite, and charged her with felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Previous offenses that are pending include a Caldwell County charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and a driving while license revoked citation filed by Taylorsville Police.

Mecimore is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $20,000. A court appearance is scheduled for Monday, June 8th in Taylorsville.
