Nathaniel Eugene Frey, 37 of Hiddenite, was arrested Tuesday by Deputies with the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. He was was served warrants for failure to appear on January charges of felony possession of schedule II controlled substance. He’s remains in the custody of the Alexander County Detention Center with a bond set at $75,000. A charge of filing a false police report is scheduled for Alexander County District Court on July 29th. Frey is also awaiting trial on two counts of felony possession of schedule II control substance in Onslow County. That Superior Court appearance is scheduled for November 7th.
