Alexander County Woman Surrenders To Custody

A Taylorsville woman is in custody after her bail bondsman surrendered her to authorities.

34-year old Katie Elizabeth Franklin was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center on Tuesday on a charge of felony probation violation. She is now being held under a secured bond of $10,000.

Franklin has a felony breaking and entering charge pending in Alexander County as well as a charge of felony larceny. Her court date on those charges is scheduled for August 14th.
