Janet Rogers Pinkerton, 67, Wayfound Church RD, Hiddenite, was arrested on Friday in Alexander County. She is charged with assault and assault by communicating threats. A previous charge of reckless driving to endanger is also pending. As of this report, Pinkerton remains in custody.
