Alexander County Woman Charged With Intentionally Striking Victim With Vehicle

An Alexander County woman has been charged with intentionally running over a woman in Catawba County.

Jenilyn Rene Quinley, 41, Goble RD. Hiddenite, is charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, according to court documents.

Deputies with the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office responded to Deal Road on Saturday around 12:30 pm. A female was hit by a vehicle. The victim is currently in stable condition.

According to the arrest report, Quinley used a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox to strike the victim. Quinley was arrested on Sunday, June 7th. She is listed as an inmate in the Catawba County Detention Center with bond listed at $10,000.
