Alexander County Woman Awaiting Trial On Felony Drug Trafficking Charges Arrested Again

An Alexander County woman arrested on significant felony drug trafficking charges last year has been arrested again.

Patrice Steele Fox age 68 was arrested on July 24th, 2025 and charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Dwelling for a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Firearm By a Felon and Resist, Obstruct, and Delay an Officer. She was jailed then under a $550,000 secured bond. In November, Fox had her bond reduced and released from custody.

On Wednesday, Alexander County Deputies arrested Fox and charged her with violating a domestic violence protection order. She is now being held without bond in the county detention center.
