Alexander County Vehicle Pursuit Lands Hiddenite Man In Jail

A Hiddenite man has been charged following a brief vehicle pursuit Tuesday evening.

31-year old Jeffery Michael Minton was arrested by Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies. He’s charged with felony flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, careless and reckless driving and stop-sign violation. He is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center under secured bond of $6,500.

Minton has a number of previous convictions in Alexander, Catawba, Iredell and Wilkes Counties.
