18-year old Jeremy Junior Broome of Taylorsville was taken into custody by Taylorsville Police on Thursday, April 20th and charged with misdemeanor larceny and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a $2,000 secured bond where he remains as of earlier today. May 15th is set as a court date in Alexander County District Court.
