Alexander County Sheriff’s Office Searching For Fugitive

The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a wanted fugitive.

Eric Rowland Tappan, age 55, is wanted for failure to notify law enforcement of an address change as a registered sex-offender. His last known address was 82 West Jay Street, Taylorsville.

Tappan was convicted in 1994 for aggravated sexual assault in another state.
