On Thursday, June 26th, at around 7:10 pm, Officers with the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office observed Nicholas Owens at 697 W Main Ave Taylorsville. During the encounter, a search was conducted, resulting in the seizure of approximately seized 4.2 grams of Fentanyl.

Owen is currently being held at the Alexander County Detention Center under $125,000 dollar secured bond. Owens first appearance in Alexander County District Court is scheduled Monday, June 30th, 2025.
