Alexander County Sheriff’s Office Investigation Leads To Arrest

Following an investigation that began on April 8th, during which narcotics investigators with the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office conducted multiple controlled purchases of marijuana. A search warrant was obtained for Hillbilly Hemp in Taylorsville.

On July 9, the search warrant was executed with the assistance of the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (NCSBI) and North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement (ALE).

As a result of the search, investigators seized marijuana and arrested Kyle Benjamin Justice, age 25, of Hiddenite.

Justice was charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver a schedule VI controlled substance in connection with the investigation. He has been released on bond.
