Alexander County Sheriff’s Office Charge Man With Statutory Rape

Carol Henry Maloney, age 41 of Grover, NC was arrested for child-sex related crimes including statutory rape on Wednesday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office.

Following an investigation, Alexander County Deputies arrested Maloney in Cleveland County. He’s charged with felony statutory rape of a child 15 or younger and felony sexual activity by a substitute parent.

Maloney is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $400,000.
