Alexander County Sheriff’s Office Announce Two Additional Drug Arrests

The following arrests have been announced by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office.

Kenneth Alan Korte, age 58, of Princess Ln., Hiddenite, is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is currently being held in Alexander County Detention Center under no bond. His first court appearance will be June 1st.

Steven Douglas Brown, age 50, of Steffey Ln., Taylorsville, was arrested for felony trafficking methamphetamine, felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver controlled substance, felony maintaining a dwelling for controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting arrest. He is currently being held in Alexander County Detention Center under no bond. His first court appearance will be June 1st.
