On Tuesday, October 8th, Officers that were deployed to Mitchell County returned home. During their deployment, our Officers were actively engaged in critical operations, including: Search and Rescue, Welfare Checks, Emergency Deliveries: Providing food and water to residents cut off due to extensive flood damage, and providing security to the First Responder Camp.
Additionally, a group of Detectives were dispatched to Rutherford County to assist in search and rescue operations, security measures, and investigations in the Chimney Rock/Lake Lure area.
