Due to power outages and debris from Friday’s storm, Alexander County Schools will be closed for students with an optional teacher workday on Monday, September 30th. Staff members choosing to work please exercise extreme caution. School administrators will utilize available options for any employee who is unable to report to work safely. In this most difficult time, we value each employee’s service and are understanding of the need to take care of yourself and your family if the storm has caused hardships. We are very thankful for all of the agencies in Alexander County for working hard to take care of our community. Thank you to all of those who are helping others during this time of need.
