2024 is reality but so is the deadline to pay your 2023 Alexander County Property Tax.
The deadline to pay without penalty is 5pm on Friday, January 5th.
A 2 % interest is charged on the outstanding balance on January 6th and ¾% interest each month thereafter.
Collection efforts such as garnishment of wages, attachment to bank accounts, and foreclosure of property are used to collect taxes.
The Alexander County Tax Office is located in the County Services Center at 151 Main Street in Taylorsville.
