Dustin Ray Townsend, age 23 of Taylorsville, has been ordered to serve 10 days in the Alexander County Detention Center. The sentence was ordered for contempt of court. Townsend is serving a 24 month suspended sentence following a conviction in Alexander County for sexual battery in February.
