Alexander County Man Serving Suspended Sentence Arrested On Felony Drug Charge

Will Donovan Loudermelk, age 41, of Fairgrounds RD, Taylorsville, was taken into custody on Thursday by Alexander County Deputies. He is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Loudermelk was placed in the County Detention Center under a secured bond of $20,000 but as of earlier today is no listed as an inmate. A 2025 driving while license revoked charge is also pending. Loudermelk is serving a 30-month suspended sentence after being convicted on March, 3, 2025 for possession of a firearm by a felon.
