Kevin Ryan Conlon
Mooresville Police notified Alexander County Deputies that 43-year old Kevin Ryan Conlon was wanted in their jurisdiction for assault on a female and a crime of domestic violence. They had reason to believe he was in Alexander County. Conlon was found at a location on Rector Road. While serving the warrants, the suspect was found to be in possession of a handgun and was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Conlon was convicted in 2008 for attempted second-degree murder in Iredell County. He served 11 years in prison as the result of that conviction.
Conlon is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $220,000.
A previous charge of misuse of the 911 system is also pending in Alexander County.
