Probation and Parole Officers in Alexander County arrested 37-year-old Stony Point resident David Earl Welch on Monday. He’s charged with two-counts of felony probation violation and defrauding a drug/alcohol test. Welch remains in the Alexander County Detention Center with a bond set at $17,500.
